PATIMENT, new signing of Aloud

There is something always worthwhile in music. You can like a genre, a style, the mastery of a musician or a band, but there is always something fascinating: the possibility that something surprises you when you listen to it. It can be a song, and you can be left wanting more and find out that it was, both live and in the rest of the songs they have recorded. Something like that has happened to us with PATIMENT.

Their sound and their intention were everything, and that was what won us over as soon as we listened to them. They were eager to tell, to talk about all those sensations that follow one after another and become the nostalgia of the best moments and the rage that those things don’t come back. As a sample, “Agna”, the first advance of this EP, in which PATIMENT stir those memories that are no longer repeated and become something unknown. So much that it is inevitable to wonder if we have changed so much.

The direction, photography and editing of the video that accompanies the song are the work of the guitars and voices of PATIMENT, Uriel García and Didac Grau respectively. As for the recording and production of “Agna” is the work of Edgar Beltri. Andrew Oswald has been in charge of the mixing, while the mastering has remained within the band, in the hands of Didac Grau.

With this new signing we strengthen Aloud Music’s linguistic policy, because there are no limits. Languages are there, they are one of the most evident forms of cultural richness that deserve to be explored and to discover the way of feeling and getting excited in each language. It happened to us years ago when we listened to Puput and in 2024 Roko Banana took us to everything there is in contemporary rock made in Catalan.

A universe worth exploring further.
