LINALAB
Desire Paths (Synth vicious/Aloud 2021) is Linalab’s most ambitious and mature work to date, featuring an unrivaled mix of guitars and synthesizers with powerful drums recorded by Rafa Camisón (G.A.S. Drummers), who was also in charge of the recording and mixing.
This mixture of elements of post-rock, ambient and experimental electronics is cohesive with the style and complex structures that characterize Linalab, giving rise to a more forceful and guitar-heavy album, but with the hypnotic sound that we have already seen on their previous albums. Linalab is a multiple singularity, it is a whole and a unit, it is a solitary sound, a note, a frequency that becomes more complex, tangled, becomes noise, melody, song, and then silence as it remains over time.
BIO
She composed his first album, Eclíptica, inside a telescope and imitating its shape. On his second EP Doom, she tries to imagine what the end of the world will sound like, resulting in four scale destructions.
In her work Still Alive, she realizes that there is no final day, only intermediate days, there is no Apocalypse, there is no epic destruction, only infinite rearrangements of particles that originate infinite sound possibilities. Her latest and forceful work, Desire Paths, is a meeting point, a mother ship that takes us to hypnotic worlds from which we do not want to return.
Linalab does not only exist on stage, apart from playing on various stages and
festivals, understands music as an investigation, being one of the pioneers in the practice of Live Coding and a benchmark in Europe in the use of modular synthesizers.
