Arianne and Mario started out almost by chance, rehearsing at Buen Mambo, the studio that Mario built from scratch with his father. Unpretentious of any kind, they discovered that through music they opened a ditch in their relationship through which to escape in moments of extreme need. And it was like that, rehearsal by rehearsal and concert by concert, and in a brief space of one year, they began to build the foundations of “Suave con la canoa“, their first album, recorded entirely live at Buen Mambo with Mario at the controls. Does that sound like DIY to you, right?

The album had been recorded at the beginning of 2016 but was published in 2017, co-released by the band, NSE Fotografía and Aloud Music, and allowed them to tour throughout the state with special emphasis on Barcelona, ??the Basque Country and Madrid, the headquarters of the band of Humanes. Among the most outstanding concerts, his presence at Primavera Sound 2018, Ezdok Festival 2018 or at the prestigious BAM Cultura Viva 2018.

It was in mid-2018 when the band made one of the decisions that would mark their career: their second album would be recorded in Chicago with Steve Albini at the controls. And said and done, in August of that same year Arianne and Mario crossed the world to sleep for almost 1 week at Electrical Audio, recording live and taking their sound to the extreme they wanted in terms of rawness and truth. Nobody like Steve Albini to record and produce “La Felpa“, the second DobleCapa album that would be released in April 2019. The album is released on 180gr, black vinyl.

In 2019 they confirm their presence at 2 major festivals, such as the Madcool Festival in Madrid and the ArcTanGent in Bristol, UK, where they plan to carry out their first tour outside of Spain. In the meantime, they are preparing a complete tour throughout the country for autumn, which will allow them to present the songs from an impressive and surprising album that makes them win followers at every step.
