We don’t give up

We’re ok. Today is September 18, 6 months have passed since the start of the pandemic and, luckily, we are still here.

I don’t know about you, but the shock has lasted for a long time. So much so that for months, the management of the bands, the store and the label in general has been different than usual. Worse, sure. The blow left us stunned, on the ground and on the brink of KO. Then came the releases of Viva Belgrado and Jardín de la Croix and they gave us air (and money) so that the thought of closing the blind that usually flutters in these cases would disappear from our minds. Finally, a few concerts with Pinpilinpussies and Viva Belgrado reminded us of who we are and what we are here for.

During all this time, our lives have undergone quite important changes. Without going any further, Mau is still at the label but he is no longer in the office (not even in the city) and his personal life took precedence. We believe that it has been something logical. If someone has not understood this small blackout, it is because they do not understand us as people. With the arrival of September, “back to school“, day by day we are recovering not only normality and perseverance, but also desire and projects.

In the coming months we are going to edit some new works with our sights set on that post-pandemic moment where going out to play again is safe and enjoyable and the connection with the public is once again allowed. We firmly believe in our project as a label and we continue to see it as alive and necessary. As you know, we spent from July 2019 to March 2020 preparing a small internal revolution that culminated in this year full of important releases, tours, festivals,… We leave the record in this video in the middle of the pandemic:

Now, for the first time in these months, we once again see a clear horizon and we get to it.

No te rindas que la vida es eso,
continuar el viaje,
perseguir tus sueños,
destrabar el tiempo,
correr los escombros y destapar el cielo.
