Ulises:
Propper noun
1. Latin name of Odysseus, Greek hero protagonist of Homer’s Odyssey. In reference to the trip and its constant transit in pursuit of Ithaca.
2. A novel by the Irish writer James Joyce published in 1922. In reference to the recurring registry changes, as well as his eagerness to recreate the odyssey of the modern citizen through 24 hours in the life of an office worker.

«Read your own obituary notice they say you live longer. Gives you second wind. New lease of life.” — Ulysses, James Joyce

Recorded by Santi García between the Cal Pau and Ultramarinos Costa Brava studios, “Ulises” is a kind of free reinterpretation of James Joyce’s work of the same name. Hence the different and risky register changes, both lyrically and instrumentally, and the eagerness to describe the little miseries that make up the odyssey of the modern citizen. In that sense, an attempt has been made to surround the album with an aura of total honesty: the sound is raw, instruments have hardly been dubbed; the drums were recorded in the dining room of a farmhouse looking for a roomy sound natural remembering Steve Albini; and even the artwork has been designed by the band itself.
