Written between London and Madrid, and recorded between March and April 2010, “Hidden State” is, first of all, an album of well written songs.  “In a Row” (first single), “Coleman Fields”, “We live on”, “Melting Sun”, “Innerzia”… Produced by Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Minus the Bear, Pearl Jam), the sound brings us an evolved band, much more straight on, with a power unusual for their age and fulfilling the expectation their first two albums had generated.  Nobody they would call them a “national band”, as this album flirts with the best works of Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age or Biffy Clyro. There are so many hits, in “Hidden State”.
