That is how we explain those constant changes, both in lyrics and music and the effort to describe the small miseries that are part of the lives of the modern citizen. Honesty is part of the album all over it: the sound is raw, drums were recorded in the living room of a country house, looking for the roomy sound made famous by Steve Albini and even the artwork itself have been created by the band.
