How many emotions can Sara Zozaya handle? A question you asked yourself as you gradually discovered her, with her first EPs, starting with Nara (2023). And it happened again when listening to “Blu,” a song so full of everyday sensations that it made us wonder what the next ones would be like.
A progression unfolds as a series of soundscapes emerge, over which Sara Zozaya’s voice travels. This is attä, the new EP by Sara Zozaya.
All of this unfolds against a backdrop of intimate memories, close friends, and a new range of influences. attä is an emotional refuge; it is minimalist and transformative. The starting point of a new stage in the career of this San Sebastián-born artist.

A threshold, both personal and artistic, that reveals Sara Zozaya simultaneously enjoying and fearing the unknown. Curiosity, nostalgia, sorrow, and a collection of small farewells manifest through a sound that ranges from dark ambient to bedroom pop to electronica. Sounds from which we could identify influences such as Julianna Barwick, Ethel Cain, and Elena Setién.
Sara Zozaya, as if it were a Nordic dawn, reveals her light surrounded by cold, darkness and beauty.
SARA ZOZAYA
“Whoever does not yet know Sara Zozaya on stage is going to experience the great discovery. A little word of honor.”
This is what Rafa Berrio said about her. Since her adolescence, Sara has not stopped experimenting with lo-fi, pop, Basque tradition or minimalism. Involved in different formations of the Basque scene and recognized as one of the young talents of Euskal Herria, she has never stopped going further.
His first solo EP, III (2018), was recognized as one of the best demos of the year by MondoSonoro, and since then he didn’t stop. Su primer disco Nara (2023), un par de EPs, colaboraciones con Benito Lertxundi, Valdivia, actuaciones en festivales como el Primavera Sound o Eufònic… pero siempre con dos constantes: la libertad creativa y su voz.
