Los Sara Fontan premieres “Creer Fuerte”
“Creer Fuerte” (Believe strong) is an exercise in exorcism:
looking again, listening again, and believing again
in what emerges from the collective.
Believe strongly. Believe wholeheartedly. Maintain collective hope in times of individualistic cynicism, broadcast barbarism, and the defeat of the future. Jumping heartily off a cliff, with all the consequences: that’s what the protagonists do in the opening scene of Ejercicios para ver a Dios, the film by Miguel Angel Blanca that inspired Los Sara Fontan to compose this song.
The music video is a tribute to second chances: Blanca rescues and reworks a discarded scene from her own film to tell a story of brutality and beauty, death and rebirth. An exercise in exorcism that encourages us to look again, listen again, and believe again in what emerges from the collective.
“Creer Fuerte” is a work of timbre: birdsong, cuckoo clocks, sampled and percussed voices of friends, pizzicatos, and organic synthesis. Minimalism that dances between violins and drums, where every sonic gesture breathes. The result is a rhythmic delight that intertwines with the diversity of nature in spring.
The song is the first preview of Consuelo, the new album by Los Sara Fontan, to be released in January 2026 by Aloud Music and Gandula. Like their previous album, “Queda pendiente” (2023), the album was recorded entirely at home by the artists themselves, capturing and processing the sounds that emerge from their instruments, but also all the sounds that surround them. With this album, Los Sara Fontan hope to provide solace and energy in an era of regression and resignation.
