I asked Dave the same question 3 times: &#8220;Is this their first gig? Where did you get them, man?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>All that intensity, that energy, those songs, those melodies, those guitars&#8230; it all is in \u201c<strong>You are a deep forest<\/strong>\u201d, a brilliant album that made me forget about my fear of Spanish bands. You can&#8217;t be fascinated by that beginning with \u201c<em>Sometimes the trigger<\/em>\u201d and\u00a0\u201c<em>You\u00b4re right<\/em>\u201d, or \u201c<em>Myriana<\/em>\u201d, or \u201c<em>I don\u00b4t wanna know<\/em>\u201d&#8230; I can&#8217;t even choose one from an album so packed of hits.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I especially like the influence of the 70&#8217;s, it gives them an original touch. The wild sound. Voice and backing vocals, amazing. The rhythmic base that makes you dance. That \u201cYou\u2019re a deep forest\u201d memorable and psychedelic. The ambition of the first album. The songs.
