Discovering Salvaguarda’s <\/strong>songs little by little is to be fascinated by what you’re listening to. It happened to us from the moment we pressed ‘play’ with the first song we found, and as more elements were added, it became clear to us that Trazas <\/em>(Aloud Music, 2025) was a complete exercise in emotional creativity<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Because the sensitivity of each of them<\/strong> is there. They flow and somehow establish a dialogue<\/strong> in which they intersect, in which they find elements on which to grow (themselves). <\/p>\n\n

And much more, something that Salvaguarda explains perfectly<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n

Sometimes names arrive unannounced. You search for them, you discard them, you search for them again\u2026 until one decides to stay. \u201cSalvaguarda<\/strong>\u201d settled within us as if it had always been there. It wasn\u2019t a flash of insight or an epiphany. It reminds us that we all have something to protect: a memory, a place, a piece of ourselves, <\/strong>or this community we started a year ago. Perhaps we feel at home when we say it. We come from different paths (Alicia Nurho, Deriva, Balaena, Jard\u00edn de la Croix), and in Salvaguarda we find a common space to create community<\/strong>, share our different artistic sensibilities<\/strong> and build something very valuable together<\/strong>. Trazas <\/strong><\/em>(Aloud Music, 2025) is our first work as a band.We crafted it with patience and great care. We were obsessed with finding a balance between what the lyrics convey and what the music expresses <\/strong>when words are absent. We wanted each track to have its own voice, for each sound to have its own full and unique meaning. Ultimately, Trazas <\/em>is a metaphor for a journey<\/strong>: a pilgrimage we have all undertaken at some point. These are stories we chose to confront head-on, sharing them among ourselves, and lovingly and carefully transforming them and clothing them in music. Stories that, when told, leave a lasting impression.
