{"id":26403,"date":"2026-02-27T15:16:38","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T14:16:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aloudmusic.com\/sara-fontan-and-their-consuelo\/"},"modified":"2026-02-27T15:59:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T14:59:09","slug":"sara-fontan-and-their-consuelo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aloudmusic.com\/en\/sara-fontan-and-their-consuelo\/","title":{"rendered":"Sara Fontan and their Consuelo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After discovering <em>Consuelo <\/em>before Consuelo through a tour of self-managed collectives and friendly venues, <strong>the new album by Los Sara Fontan<\/strong> is now available on digital platforms<\/p>\n\n<p>Like <em>Queda pendiente<\/em> (2023), <em>Consuelo <\/em>has been <strong>recorded and produced by themselves in Dalt-de-Tot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Santi Garcia<\/strong> handled the mixing at Ultramarinos Costabrava, and <strong>\u00c1lvaro Gallego<\/strong> was in charge of the mastering.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Clara Iris<\/strong> is the creator of the cover illustration.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-center wp-element-button\" href=\"&lt;!--[CDATA[https:\/\/aloudmusic.lnk.to\/Consuelo]]--&gt;\">CONSUELO &#8211; LISTEN ON DIGITAL PLATFORMS<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>We were talking about <strong><em>Consuelo <\/em>(Aloud Music \/ Gandula, 2026)<\/strong>, looking at the cover of Los Sara Fontan&#8217;s new album, and inevitably wondering who she was, <strong>whether it was a concept<\/strong>, what else lay behind the song titles. Ideas that arise\u2026 and go further, as they do every time we listen to them. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>They never sound the same to us<\/strong>. They always surpass themselves, because <strong>Los Sara Fontan generate sensations in which we discover ourselves<\/strong> and which somehow transcend, especially when it&#8217;s live.<\/p>\n\n<p>A sort of conversation between Los Sara Fontan and us, since their songs seem to have a <strong>different meaning with each listen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Los Sara Fontan - Creer Fuerte - Videoclip\" width=\"1060\" height=\"596\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DkSEq6NUqSg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>With this album, we hope you find a place to take refuge and imagine other possible systems. We hope it accompanies you and brings you comfort, as it has done for us and continues to do every time we bring it to life. <\/em> <strong>LOS SARA FONTAN<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>On one of the inner sleeves, we find these words from Los Sara Fontan about <em>Consuelo<\/em>. Of all that&#8217;s possible, we can let ourselves be carried away by the <strong>soundscape <\/strong>of the album or by everything that lies beneath <strong>the surface of the eight songs<\/strong>. The order of factors doesn&#8217;t change the outcome. <\/p>\n\n<p>Whether we think about that feeling of hope that arises when listening to &#8220;Creer Fuerte&#8221;, or about the need to think about what might be in &#8220;Dubte Met\u00f2dic&#8221; or in &#8220;Mecanismes d\u2019Obedi\u00e8ncia&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The reality to reflect on<\/strong>, to accumulate emotions, is there. We&#8217;ve encountered something we never thought would return, and we&#8217;ve transcended technology, rediscovering the importance of small gestures towards those around us. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The music of Los Sara Fontan is deeply connected to everything happening around them<\/strong>. So much has happened since their first album that the brilliance of <em>Queda Pendiente<\/em> (Aloud Music \/ Gandula, 2023) has become <strong>more austere<\/strong>. Even more <strong>empathetic to their surroundings<\/strong>, capable of adapting and transforming with each situation. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>How many Los Sara Fontan people are there?<\/strong> No, it&#8217;s not a simple question. It&#8217;s not just Sara Font\u00e1n <strong>working alchemy with her violin<\/strong> and Edi Pou questioning the <strong>apparent limits of the drums<\/strong>.
