  • 2016 goals

With the arrival of the new year, at Aloud Music we renew efforts (new logo, new website) and launch a new section of articles. Here, together with the interviews section, we’ll give the website a small journalistic touch to let you know what&#821.

BIO

Astralia was born in La Floresta in November 2010, the result of the union of three musicians from different styles, but with the common illusion of creating songs with new sounds, new atmospheres, new textures, often developed from the simplicity of a few notes. . Thus, playing with the instruments, they create very organic environments in which harmonic sensations inhabit. Creations largely inspired by nature and that, like her, ask for your time, your breaks. A space trip, with influences from the most ambient post-rock, which is internalized and leaves no one indifferent.

Astralia self-produces and self-releases its first album with the same title, between November 2011 and February 2012. Two years later, after being well received by the audience and good reviews from independent media and blogs, his new work, Atlas (May 2014, self-produced and self-released), accompanied by a presentation tour of Portugal and the north of the peninsula in the summer of 2014. At that time, Aloud Music crossed his path to reissue Atlas on vinyl, 3 different editions, one of them shared with the Dunk! Records (Belgium).

After several dates on the peninsula and opening the AMFest 2015 (Barcelona), in May of that same year they embarked on their first European tour that took them to play in France, Belgium or Germany, playing at the mythical Dunk! Festival (Belgium).

In April 2017 – edited by Aloud Music – “Solstice” was released, the band’s third album. A work that definitively launches them as one of the national and, above all, international references of atmospheric and environmental post-rock. One of the best records released in the 15-year history of Aloud Music.

Some time after the edition of “Solstice“, the band enters a hiatus due to the departure of one of its components to live outside the country. In the middle of 2020 and in the midst of a pandemic, they break their silence with the digital edition of the single “So Far So Near“, who reunites us with his sound and makes his teeth long thinking about a possible reunification and reactivation of the band. We at Aloud certainly miss you and look forward to hearing from you.
