The first week of (III)

Toundra are recording (III) in Sadman Studio in Madrid and have decided to share part of the experience through a Studio Report. In the first week they were recorded drums and bass. There is still a long way that you can follow here.

The day has come to realize many months of work. Toundra has started to record (III) , an album that will open a new horizon. Toundra are working with big names in the rock scene as Santi Garcia, Carlos Santos and Juan Blas (Nothink), who will add good tools to construct the album. It will be days of dedication that we´ll follow very closely...

TOUNDRA AT THE COSTA DEL FUEGO FESTIVAL

They are confirmed to the 20th of July in Benicassim (Spain)

During the constuction of the album "(III)", Toundra have been invited to the festival Costa de Fuego, a new event for rock, metal and core that is designed for a crowd. The locals will share the stage with Guns n ´Roses, Paradise Lost and War Cry, among others.

AEDIFICATORIA WITH VERY GOOD REVIEWS

This just started. Less than a month of his departure, Aedificatoria has managed to position itself at No.1 of the National Top of Mondosonoro magazine and week by week, websites, blogs and various media launch very encouraging reviews. Fira Fem motivates us a lot.

Nothink are back from Los Angeles (USA), where they have mixed with Joe Barressi (Queens of the Stone Age, Melvins, Bad Religion) and mastered with Dave Collins (Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Bruce Springsteen, Weezer) their new single "Let me go".

April 25th we will release the new song online, with some surprises we will reveal soon. To celebrate it, Nothinkwill play in Barcelona again, after one year and a half.

We flight to Rusia with Toundra and Exxasens

We have to go to Russia to see Exxasens and Toundra playing together in a festival!

After If These Trees Could Talk cancellation, organizers of the Astral2 (an international audiovisual festival of modern instrumental music) decided to call Exxasens, probably the best band in the first edition. Exxasens made 2 great gigs in september 2011, as they return to the festival as a headliners.

Astral2 is a 3 cities festival: Saint-Petersburg, Ekaterimburg and Moscow, from 19 to 21th april. This is the lineup:

It will be the second russian tour for Exxasens (you can see videos here or here), but it will be the first time Toundra plays outside Spain.

Toundra will introduce "II" (Aloud Music, 2010) and some new songs that will be recorded in May and released in september under the name of "III". In september, Toundra will be touring Europe.

This is the first time 2 Aloud Music bands are playing together outside Spain. We celebrate it, and make us happy.

The outer space is closer. This Saturday Exxasens will presents "Eleven Miles" at La2 (Barcelona), a stage in which we felt very comfortable. Press from around the world are talking about this record. The German magazine Eclipsed included "Science will save us" in its monthly compilation and online media as Musikreview.com it highlighted with a star, in our country, Rockzone talks about a trip to the stars and Mondosonoro says it is a talent we should know. This is a great opportunity.

Jaume Pantaleon and Jose Rossello spent years doing music. They were always linked to the forefront, to transgress the rules, to trample on convention and this is something we like. They do what they want and do it well. "Verdad" is the album that gives then a "Cathedrals" and an asphalt road to new horizons. The continuous psychedelia there, but this time, amalgamates with more synthesizers, loops where it is easy to get lost and a indisputable consistency. So far this year, "Verdad" has aroused the curiosity of La Vanguardia, Rockdelux, El Periodico de Catalunya, we have read reviews in webzines and recently confirmed their inclusion in the Primavera Sound 2012.
