Fira Fem has evolved in the search of a sound identity, taking off the obvious references. From the electro-acustic to the electronic experimentation of his early groups like "Hood" or "Remote Viewer" in mind, go to a more organic sound to consolidate as a band. During this period they acquire some repercussion, coming to play in programs such as Siglo XXI of Radio 3 . After several shows, Fira Fem self-produced the second reference "Human Disco Mascot", edited by MAM netlabel! Records (USA) , this material was chosen by the Mondosonoro Magazine´s editors of Mondosonoro Madrid within the 3 best demos of 2010.

Squeezing their live acts, the group shares the stage with bands such as Triángulo de Amor Bizarro (Mushroom Pillow, Spain) or Prince Rama (Paw Tracks, USA). At the same time, the band evolve their sound closer to a more vitalist pop vocal presence, which keeps the textures and electronic sounds. Occasionally their music flirts with the chill wave, tropical or even the more pop shoegaze . Receive comparisons with bands like Caribou, Animal Collective or Future Islands, that can serve as references, but they do not capture the personality they are buying as a band. In this new stage record 3 songs under the name "Old Man Jacket EP" with those who are chosen as semifinalists of Demo Project organized by FIB RNE and WIN .

In February 2011 the Demoscópica party at Sala Heineken (Madrid) with El Guincho. With this concert they received very good reviews and Fira Fem is chosen to participate in the Red Bull Music Tour which allows them to be part of festivals such as FIB or Monkey Week . They aren´t the only festivals in which they participate, are also present in the Primavera Sound 2011 , after being chosen by over 600 Myspace bands.

With the recent addition to the ranks of Aloud Music, foresee the release of their debut album in early 2012.
