The history of Nothink starts in 1998 when Juan and Alex , collegue friends began to share evenings playing in a garage in Madrid. In the following years, until 2003, they recorded some demos from the coming and going of different members of the band. In that year, when they do find the third axis formation, Miguel , which would take the battery permanently and begin to shape the issues that are most of their repertoire.

Nothink is a rock band looking for experience, play with textures and environments, always creating different shades of euphoria and melancholy. Its hallmarks are the raw guitars with a strong base and vibrant choruses full of melodies, which are fed mainly by the rock of the 90.

Reviewing his career, rescued "Skip Forward" , their previous demo, four issues, which was named best model of 2003 by Mondosonoro . With the same demo, took over first place in the contest Festimad´04 , an opportunity that allowed them to open the festival with a wide acceptance the public present there.

With an intense and direct mad, gone through all the rooms of the capital as legendary Moby Dick, Siroco, Galileo Galilei, Chesterfield coffee, Cave 77, Swell, Honky Tonk, Rhythm & Compass ... They have accompanied groups like Engine Down , The Unfinished Sympathy , Berri Txarrak , Ariel Kill Him , Tribute to Nothing or Joshua .

Their good work on stage led them to tour the country to cities like Almeria, Castellon, Sevilla, Barcelona, ​​Zaragoza ... and independent festivals in which they have shared the stage with international bands such as Festizam Zamora or Takio Fest in Cantabria. Also have dared to offer another vision of his songs giving a couple of acoustic gigs for RNE and Telemadrid Radio stations play his songs frequently.

Soon will come the opportunity to realize all that experience on their first album, "Bipolar Age". The album, self-produced and edited by Aloud Music in June 2005 was recorded at Grocery Costa Brava Studies led by Santi Garcia , and submit it after the summer throughout the peninsula. Nothink present their second album, entitled "Spotlights" and published by the independent label Aloud Music in November 2007. An excellent album that will receive criticism from the public and the press, being named best country album of 2007 in various media (including the prestigious ROCKZONE ), which have placed the trio as one of the most prominent rock bands of the current scene.

"Spotlights" is recorded in Costa Brava Grocery Studies by Santi Garcia and this time it features collaborations with luxury as Ramon Rodriguez Madee or gas flames Dani Drummers and the orchestration on some tracks by the Kiev Philharmonic .

His presence at the Electric Weekend Getafe 2008 , along with Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Queens of the Stone Age and Biffy Clyro, elevates them to positions of honor in Spain charged alternative rock. After this festival, many others (FISC, Navia Rock, Musik´n´Viu ...) and countless concerts around the country.

In early 2009 the band released "Rats & Foxes" , a single via the internet to be published in a compilation of the label and in a future compilation of singles and B-sides that the group focus its promotional edit the British market. Singer, Juan Blas, lives in London throughout the year and the band will play for the first time outside the country on February 11, 2009.

After several concerts in London, where they attract the attention of some fans and promoters, the band locks to write their third album. In March 2010, comes confirmation that Nothink recorded in the U.S.. Will be in the Litho Studios (owned by Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam), the recording will last 40 days and producer Matt Bayles is the renowned, it has produced, among others, Pearl Jam, Mastodon and Isis.

The trip to America is reflected in "Hidden State", the third studio album the band released again by Aloud Music. We organize various events to celebrate the launch, including a showcase for less than 100 followers in Madrid, especially for people who buy the album through the Internet. Exhausted in less than 18 hours.

Sales soar and the tour is a success. More than 30 concerts, including the presence in some festivals. Four chain gives a good account of it in a story on their newscasts, which still attracts more publicity for the band.

Presented in Madrid in September, with a soldout history (more than 100 people are left without input) in the Sala El Sol, and do the same in November in Barcelona, ​​in concert with Toundra in Bikini in Barcelona, ​​where together more 400 people.

Already in 2011, the band is focusing on renewing its direct, combining the composition of new songs and his performance in some festivals.
