Born in 1976 in Bilbao, Ainara LeGardon has been making music for more than two decades. Their three solo albums ("In the mirror" -2003 - "Each day a lie" -2005 - and "Forgive me if I do come home to sleep tonight" -2009 -) received excellent reviews and a warm welcome by the public and are considered some of them as references in the folk-rock of our country.

Ainara always has been surrounded by excellent staff, both in studio and live among them Chris Eckman (The Walkabouts, Chris & Carla)-who produced his first two works, Joe Skyward (Posies, Sunny Day Real Estate, The Walkabouts), Carlos Torero (Ex Radio Futura), Hannot Mintegi, Gaizka y Ager Insunza (Audience), David Jimenez (A Room With A View), Al DeLone (Midnight Choir), Jorge Fuertes (Nudozurdo), Alfons Serra (Nisei), Javier Diez-Ena (Dead Capo, Aaron Thomas), Kim Wars (Ginferno), Jason Victor (Steve Wynn, Willard Grant Conspiracy), Ruben Martinez (Tokyo Sex Destruction) and Hector Bardisa (The Grave Yacht Club Flyingpigmatanza).

Ainara´s songs are part of more than a dozen compilations, having several times been the only American artists included in a compilation edited in America.

During these years, has stepped on the stage Ainara half of Europe (France, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Germany) plus the United States, where she has given concerts in some of the most legendary clubs in New York, as the now defunct CBGB´s .

He has shared the stage with international figures such as Thalia Zedek, Tara Jane O´Neil, Dayna Kurtz, Chris Eckman, Karate, The Walkabouts, Bonnie Prince Billy & Matt Sweeney, Giant Sand, Damien Jurado, etc ...

It underlines its intensity, the intimacy is revealed in each of his concerts and said that few figures on the national scene as much as she manages to convey on stage.

His latest album ("We once wished"-2011-) gives a twist to their sound and along the way, unfettered by paths closer to rock to folk. Hector Live accompanying Bardisa (Flyingpigmatanza) on drums, Ruben Martinez (Tokyo Sex Destruction) on bass and Hannot Mintegi (Audience) on guitar and vocals.

Today she combines her personal project with Archipiel (improvisation duo with Alvaro Barriuso-Cobra-), the soundtrack creation, highlighting their work with the director Alvaro Sanz.
